Here We Go Again

I’ve been dealing with applicants who cannot fill up details correctly in our subsidy claim forms, like, dog or cat, male or female. I also have those who write a wrong bank account number, or do not circle the name of their bank. And of course, those who do not answer the question whether they are also claiming from other organisations. We’ve talked about this and we’ve already changed our form to make it as simple as possible to minimise difficulties faced when filling it up. Still, I’m getting forms where not all the details are filled up, but it’s ok. This is the reality of life.
But we also have another problem now – so far we have three cases of people who typed in a wrong email address in our contact form:http://myanimalcare.org/contact/.
When they type in a wrong email address and I reply, the reply bounces back to me and there is no way I can find out what their real email address is. To them, it would be perceived that I either ignored their request or I did not reply, neither of which is the truth.
And since no phone number is given, I also cannot contact them. In short, there is no way I can contact them at all. We could ask them to type in their phone number, but if they can type their email add wrongly, they might type their phone number wrongly as well.
Here’s where I need all you IT-savvy readers out there to help – what can we do to rectify this problem? Your feedback will be most appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Alternatively, the only thing I can think of is to do away with the contact form and put my email address as the contact. That might solve this problem…I think?
