With A Little Help From Our Reader
Tweet |
When we blogged about Siti Noraini Suriya’s cats (http://myanimalcare.org/2012/08/02/medical-subsidy-for-putih-noraini-suriya-arshads/)and the help that she needed, one of our readers responded and literally took Siti Noraini under her wing. This reader wrote to me and said she would help Noraini with the medical needs of all her remaining cats, financially as well as in offering her vet.
Here are some updates from the reader who has requested anonymity:
Remember, Siti Noraini Suriya with her 21 cats; they all will complete their vaccinations by end of this month and she has another 6 cats (not right weight and age yet) to be neutered. Noraini, has come a long way but she is totally dedicated. Yesterday she lost one of her cats to FIP but the rest of her cats are in good health now and thriving.
This way, we did not have to subsidise Siti Noraini’s cases anymore as this reader had taken everything up. We wish to thank her for her kindness.
The same reader also offered to help Anne Suhana’s Juling (http://myanimalcare.org/2012/09/18/home-nursing-for-juling-the-sporo-cat-anne-suhana-kassims/)who is undergoing treatment for sporotrichosis. Here are the updates:
For the update of Juling the sporo cat of Anne Suhana, last Saturday Anne took him to see my vet for check up. Still a long way to go – the previous sporanox was not the correct dossage as Juling has gained weight in 2 weeks about 500 gm. Was given antibiotic to curtail the infection of the sores and and 3 weeks supply of sporanox. Their next appointment is on 20th October, 2012.
Thank you, dear reader, for lending a helping hand. If more of our readers can help out this way, it will definitely lessen our financial burden and more importantly, increase the spirit of goodwill and camaraderie amongst our small circle of animal caregivers. Being a minority, we certainly need it!
