Very Urgent: Fosterer Required For Rescued Kittens (Ong Poh Suans)

Updates on 1st Oct, at 9.00pm: A fosterer has responded and the kittens are with the fosterer now. All’s well that ends well. We wish to thank the fosterer very much for helping and also others who had offered help.

Updates at 12.20pm: Poh Suan managed to get the milk. She is off work together so she is doing her best now, fostering them inside her car. She will have to get back to work tomorrow. Please help find a fosterer, if you know of any. Poh Suan’s hp:012-9227501.

Updates on 1st Oct, at 11.30am:I checked with Poh Suan this morning and she managed to get the kittens to drink small amounts of glucose water (hardly 1ml) early this morning. She tried to buy kitten milk before going off to work but none of the petstores were open yet. Poh Suan kept the kittens in her car last night because her brother would not allow them into his house. So, help is needed very urgently to save these kittens. Please help if you can.

Latest at 12noon – all with eyes open. Estimated at least 2 weeks old.
The one who could hardly move yesterday is now drinking milk!

The original post on 30th Sept:

One of my former students, Ong Poh Suan, called just now. There is a litter of 3 kittens (eyes open, but very tiny) at her sister’s house but there is no mother-cat around. Her sister’s husband wanted to leave the kittens by the roadside, so Poh Suan took them home.

However, Poh Suan has no experience at all in caring for kittens. She tried to give them some milk but she could not open their mouths to get the milk in. She also does not have any syringe or pipette.

Poh Suan needs a fosterer to take over the kittens as soon as possible as she does not have the time to look after them (she has to go to work) and she also has no experience in caring for them.

If you are able to help, please call or text Poh Suan directly on 012-9227501.

Two appear to be healthy and active. One isn’t moving much.
