I found this in a friend’s Facebook page (this has a happy ending, so it’s a “must-see” – just keep clicking on the photos in the link below to see the remarkable transformation):
March 16, 2011: An emaciated Pitbull-mix is discovered in a garbage bag by maintenance workers at the bottom of a 19-story tall garbage chute. The dog is immobile, but ALIVE. Click on the link below to see how he transformed from his emaciated self to a healthy and happy dog again in just five months.
The moral of the story: If our intention is to save and rescue, never give up no matter how bad it looks.
As long as there is still life, there is hope.
