Shirokuma came back, after 2 months, on the eve of our National Day!

Here’s the story from the owner, Stephen Wong:

Shirokuma was last seen on the 28thJune 2012 before I left for work. He was not seen in the morning, so I took a half day leave to search for him and managed to find him.

When I finished work and reached home that day, what I found was an empty cage! Shirokuma was nowhere to be found! I immediately search everywhere in the house, hoping he was hiding somewhere but I cant find him! After that I walked around the neighbourhood, calling his name, hoping he would jump out by hearing my voice, and yet, he did not.

With much grieve, I started to spread the news that Shirokuma was missing in Facebook and informed Animalcare about it. I designed a poster and forwarded to all netizen friends in hope of someone mightspotted him. From hope to hopelessness, there was no news about Shirokuma at all.

I felt being torn apart when I saw the empty cage with all the accessories prepared for him. In remembrance of him, I finally decided to adopt a pair of stray kitten which I spotted during the search of Shirokuma. Furthermore, to ease my pain of losing Shirokuma, I named the kitten Shiro (male) and Kuma(female). Deep inside my heart, I was still longing that I will be able to find Shirokuma again.

After two months, when I returned from work of the National Day Eve, I saw Shirokuma appeared at the backyard of my house! I called his name and he responded to me. I quickly grabbed and hugged him and from there I further confirm he was Shirokuma by finding the details on him.

I then quickly showered him and noticed his nails have been trimmed. I believed that he was being adopted for the past two months.

Anyway, I had my best NATIONAL DAY with Shirokumas return! Now I have a big happy family with me in my house, Shirokuma being the big brother, Shiro being the second brother and Kuma being the young sister.

We wish Shirokuma, Shiro and Kuma a very happy and healthy life together with Stephen!
