Amber has been given her last TVT jab, has been spayed and will be vaccinated tomorrow. The TVT tumour has shrunk considerably and the vet says it ought to heal on its own now. She would need to be monitored for the next few weeks, just to be sure there is no relapse.
As I've reported in this blog, Amber is always oh-so-happy and is about the friendliest dog I've ever met.
We are currently planning to discharge her tomorrow as we should not board her in the clinic anymore. The clinic environment is not conducive to Amber's recuperative state.
Ideally, Amber needs a home where she is the only dog. That's the ideal case, of course. It would be so good if someone could adopt her.
Otherwise, we are now looking for a fosterer who can keep Amber confined (in a large cage but allowed to run and play in the compound at least twice a day). The fostering period is 2-4 weeks.
