We have subsidised RM100 for the spaying and RM75 for the hernia and wound treatment of this female cat, Jico, rescued by Cassandra Fernandez.
From Cassandra:
This time around there is this female stary cat that gave birth recently at Brickfields.
She’s got 3 kittens ( pic included ) and i was thinking of spaying her before more little ones pop out.
I spoke to Aunty Agnes about it and she’s ok with it but told me to inform you of this so that we can apply for the medical subsidy for this little girl. She goes in and out of this grocery shop nearby my house in Brickfields and the shop owners occasionally give her scraps to eat.So in the end she gave birth in their shop and they willingly let her shelter there because there are a lot of dogs here.
Unfortunately, she was also bitten by a dog behind the left ear ( which now is a little floppy and swollen ) and now its leaking pus.She also has a kind of lump on her side.
The shop owners say the lump appeared after the dog attack.
Its been about 2 & half weeks since the dog attack i think.
If we went her to the vet, the milk in her teats has to dry up and i dunno if its dried or not.
But i think the dog bite wound needs attention right now.
