Elsa Is Adopted! (Koo Swee Por�s)

Here’s some happy news from Koo to start off the week!

Dear Dr Chan,

I’m very happy to share that Elsa has been adopted! Elsa was adopted
practically within minutes of her arrival at the adoption drive
yesterday and unexpectedly too because usually potential adopters shun
adult dogs when there were many puppies available. I was already at my
wits’ end because the rescuer/fosterer couldn’t foster for long but I
didn’t want to take over since I already have a foster dog of my own
on top of my own adopted dogs although I’ve helped out with the
transportation, grooming, vet check–ups and adoption process. Thus, I
was very relieved and thankful that Elsa was adopted by Janet Tan of
Puchong who recently lost her own dog due to old age and saw some
similarity of her previous dog in Elsa. Janet reimbursed the vet cost
of RM70 and I’ll follow-up on Elsa’s spaying which I could subsidise
since I still have leftover funds which were contributed by Elsa’s
rescuers.
