We publicised Michelle’s appeal for help to catch this cat so that he can be sent for treatment.
No one could help, so, Michelle finally managed to catch the cat herself.

Dear Dr. Chan,
From the post dated 3rd August (http://myanimalcare.org/2012/08/03/help-needed-to-catch-an-injured-cat-michelle-ng-lai-kits/), the fierce cat, we named as Rocky, was managed to put in the cage and brought him straight to the vet for treatment. The vet said the cats condition is very bad, full of pus. He gave the cat sedative and wound dressing. Then doctor suggested to leave the cat in the clinic so that they could continue to monitor Rocky, put on dressings and give injections.
About a week later, doctor called to come over to discuss over some matters. We were very happy when we saw that the wound got better and smaller. Doctor suggested to board him another week since its a wild cat and difficult for us to do dressing. However when we found out the boarding is very costly at $8 per day, we decided to take Rocky home and take care of him ourselves to save cost. Doctor said what we could do is to add antibiotics into the Rockys meals. Therefore after deducting the one week of boarding, the bill amounted to $252 (Sedative/wound dressing – $100, medication – $80, 9 days boarding – $72).
We actually didnt expect that the bill will be amounted to that much and we cant afford so much for a stray cat. This is because we are also currently giving food to about seven another community cats whereby four of them were already spayed. So we would like to request for sponsorship/subsidy for the Rockys treatment. Thank you.
Michelle
