ATTENTION BANGKOK RESIDENTS

Greetings ~ my name is Tara Newhouse and I sent Soi Dog Foundation a message on Facebook. You replied that you would be able to post on our behalf on the Soi Dog Foundation Facebook page, which I appreciate very much. We are looking for a loving forever home for a very sweet soi dog we have been calling “Ruby,” for her beautiful red coat. My husband and I have lived in Bangkok for about 16 months now and I found this very sweet, sick and injured, soi dog on our soi at the tail end of last year’s floods. I took her to a local clinic where they treated her for a severe leg infection, Lyme Disease, and flea infestation. They also spayed and vaccinated her while there. I had a couple of adoption offers for her once she was recovered, but they all fell through. The veterinarian who tended to her estimated that she was between 8-10 years old. We have been caring for her since, but have a newborn baby and a very old, very medically-needy 16 year old dog who moved here with us from the US. We do love Ruby, and she is incredibly sweet and docile, but we simply don’t have the time or capacity to give her the attention and care that she deserves. Thank you very much.
