Shanti...

Shanti Shanti has been with Soi Dog for a long time. Many years ago Soi Dog moved into the government dog pound (this before the shelter existed). Many of the dogs at the pound were in a sorry state including Shanti. She was very stressed at the pound spending all waking ours running around in an agitated state.

When Soi Dog as forced to relocate from the pound we took Shanti with us to the Soi Dog shelter where she has lived since. She has always been a nervous dog but was quite happy in the OAP run where some of our more relaxed residents live.

Unfortunately in the last few months she has exhibited symptoms with her right leg and it was discovered that the poor girl has cancer. Sadly her left hind leg has had to be amputated due to the cancer.

She has been put onto chemotherapy and we are hoping that she will win this battle!
