Introducing Vegtoons
A new animated series called Vegtoons is currently in production, which is an independent educational initiative to promote plant-based diets. Funds are being raised through a grassroots fundraising campaign through the portal Kickstarter to help move forward with production. A month-long campaign, from July 30th through August 31st, you can help support the cause by visiting http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/vegtoons/vegtoons-animated-series
The producers are inviting folks to become co-creators of the Vegtoons show by contributing through Kickstarter. They report that their “biggest challenge will be reaching a wide enough community of potential supporters to pitch in” so any help to raise awareness or contribute directly will go a long way in furthering the project.
