Laina Found Her Happy Home

Few days ago, Madam  Chua and family from Bukit Jalil came to adopt Laina as a companion to their old German Shepherd dog by the name of Misty. Misty is already 13 years old and lately he has been feeling quite down and lonely. Laina , being young and energetic, hopefully can  bring some sparks  to Misty’s life.

I went to visit Laina and to get to know the family better. Laina went to hide under the car when she saw me.  Laina is a very gentle dog, she has been quiet and timid in the shelter.She came out from under the car only after her playmate(Chua’s son) came back from cycling outside.

Another Dachshund dog, Sparky, came out of the house and Laina warmed up to him rather quickly. Laina seemed to be very welcome by all including the dogs. I am so happy for Laina, from a dog living in front of a shop in Bandar Bukit Puchong and in constant danger of being caught  by Municipal Council’s catcher, she has found a good home here in Bukit Jalil.

After sometime, Laina plucked up her courage, she walked up to me and nudged me with her nose. I gave her a good hug, hiding my happy tears for her. Later, I kissed her goodbye and knowing Madam Chua and her family and even her maid are all great dog lovers, I left with a light heart.
By the way, she has been renamed Happy by the Chua’s family and yes, she will be happy forever in this new home.

To be able to rehome our rescued dogs in good families  is about the best reward we can get!

Second Chance

They do their very best to render help whenever time permits and within their limited capacities. They hope to find good homes for as many homeless animals as possible. Currently, there are 100+ animals rescued and fostered by this group.
