Two nights ago Amy borrowed one of our traps and managed to catch a female cat in her neighbourhood. She has been trying to catch this cat for two years....so, finally!!
Apparently, this cat was so aggressive she climbed all over the clinic! And vet had to sedate her quickly and get her spayed. She was just beyond control...probably so angry at being trapped!
When CNRM doesn't work, it would have to be TNRM.
Here she is when first caught. Amy used fried fish as bait. The cat was really smart at first, and went on top of the cage to try to get the fish. When she couldn't get it, she ran away. Amy waited...patiently. Then, the cat, determined to still get the fish, came back and this time, she entered the cage.
Calls for a lot of patience, and it was done at 6am in the morning.
