NICOLE GIVES HUDINI & TWINKLE THEIR FOREVER HOME!
In April this year, Hudini & Twinkle (2 of our shelter dogs) flew to Germany to meet their new mum, Nicole. Nicole is a regular visitor to the Soi Dog shelter & on her last visit chose 2 dogs to complete her family.

Nicole’s friend Sandra took this lovely photo & sent us this update on how the dogs are settling into their new home.

“Last weekend I visited my friend Nicole Bleuel in Dortmund. I couldn’t wait to see her two adopted Soi Dogs “Houdini” & “Twinkle”. I have had a very special relationship to Twinkle because we spend 5 days together doing walkies during my volunteer-time at the shelter in December.

I knew her as a nervous and unhappy dog, that always tried to sneak out of her run first, as soon as I opened the door. But guess what? When I came to Nicole’s place I found a totally different dog! It was so great to see the change in her and the progress she made.

Houdini and her get along perfect and Twinkle turned into a relaxed, watchful sweetheart that enjoys long walks off-leash in the forest and intelligence-games.

Thanks Nicole, for making that change possible! Good on you!”
