UPDATE ON TWIGGY…
Remember Twiggy, this little dog was photographed on the Dog Island Bridge during the Bangkok floods & recently flew to her new home in the UK with Geraldine & her family. Here’s an update from Geraldine on Twiggy’s new life…

“Twiggy has now been with us for three and a half months. Seems much longer as she has settled in so well. Mostly well behaved and has at last stopped stealing things like mobile phones and wallets. So now when we mislay things we cannot blame Twigs, only ourselves. She loves her early morning runs on the beach and pesters us until we give in and take her . We cannot let her off her extending lead because she chases the birds and will not return. Can anyone tell me if birds were a food source for her before she was taken to Soi dog ? She is quite neurotic about going after them and watches them fly into the air. Yesterday she tried to catch the largest seagull I have ever seen, he towered above Twigs but she was still prepared to have a go but the bird thought better of it and took off much to Twigs disappoinment. She still makes funny little chirruping noises when she is very happy, (our son said she sounds like a budgie ) loves her food and treats and now weighs 14 kilos. We cannot tell you how much we love her. Thought you all might like this snap of her on our bed having her usual forty winks”
