Dear Dr Chan

I hope this e-mail finds you in good spirit and great health.
A short update on Terry’s health. He is now entering into his 4th week after his heartworm treatment. Terry is back to normal with his playful self, he does not seem like he is 8 years old! (enclosed photo taken this evening) This coming Saturday, Terry will need to go for a vaccination related to the heartworm treatment and finish off on another vaccination a month later. Not to worry about subsidising, the funds collected from the cookies orders are sufficient

Dr Chan, the cookie sales has been really good. Chet Chin and Dr Veeranoot, fondly known as Nui are very helpful and supportive. Today Chet Chin offered to create a blogsite for my cookies and sent me some exciting recipes asking me to do and sell. As for Nui, till far, she had given me 3 relatively big orders and more are coming in. Below are some of the kind and motivational words by Nui ..

Not only for myself but also for taster and some will bring
oversea with me for my sisters to taste it (many purposes!). People
like choc chip so much. You are very good in making cookies and I
suggest you to continue as a part of raising fund for street animals.

Keep up your spirit and continue your good works that
ultimately go back to animals. I appreciate your hard work and
commitment to other beings on earth. Luckily, I have all
your cookies for them to taste before ordering, they love your
cookies, can smell butter not margarine, not too sweet, and the amount
of cookies is also reasonable with the money. You should open a bakery
shop in deed…fantastic for your cookies.

I had asked for Nui’s permission to copy her statement here and she agreed and supports all the way.

Dr Chan, I am thankful to you, AnimalCare and both Chet Chin and Nui for being there for us all through our difficult times.

God bless all of you abundantly.

Best regards
Jennifer L.

We thank Chet Chin and Dr Veeranoot and also others for supporting Jennifer’s efforts. We also thank Jennifer for her kind intentions of donating 10% of her sales to AnimalCare but we insist that she keeps the money for Shiloh’s medical treatment (another heartworm case) and her rescue work. After all, her animals deserve it all as it comes from hard work.

Dear Dr Chan

Yes, it is ok to blog. We can help with rescuing animals in many ways, one of them is through my way. Thanks to you for suggesting this brilliant idea I would love to see more and more people to come forth together to help the animals.
Dr Chan, thanks for the offer in keeping the funds for Shiloh. At least allow me to donate RM100 back to AnimalCare for all the help and support rendered to us. We are very happy to be able to do so
I just got a student thats doing a grooming course to cut Shiloh’s fur short for only RM30 in preparation for his heartworm treatment. He is now on Doxycycline (antibiotics) to weaken the parasites in his blood. On the 6 August 2012, Shiloh will go for his X-ray and blood test. A week later, he will start on his heartworm treatment if Shiloh is eligible and fit for it.
Enclosed are the photos of Shiloh, before and after shaven
Take care Dr Chan.
Best regards
Jennifer L.

Shiloh- Before

Shiloh – After

We wish Shiloh a successful treatment and may he recover quickly, as Terry has. If you need cookies for your own consumption, as gifts or for any special occasion, please do support Jennifer’s cookies for a good cause.

We are very happy when we are able to help other caregivers help their animals through our funds, but we are even happier when we are able to help them stand on their own as that goes a much longer way.
