I also brought "Miss C" the Chow Chow to the same adoption drive for an evaluation.  She was rescued in the evening of last Friday (17 June 2011) after being spotted, in the early afternoon on the same day, risking her life trying to cross the ever-busy LDP in Petaling Jaya.  The high road divider would have stranded her in the middle and can you imagine coming across a road-kill carcass of a Chow Chow?  Anyway, I helped to capture her after receiving an SOS call that a rescuer managed to track and corner her into one nearby house compound.  But I ended up with an unplanned but temporary fostering duty (until this Tuesday) before handing back to the first rescuer.  I already took her to a vet at Damansara Jaya (I was also there for a check-up of my adopted dog when I got the call) who did a physical check-up and gave her a clean bill of health but unfortunately, could not find any microchip after a thorough scanning.  The vet was very kind because he did not charge any fee despite taking time to check her and providing many helpful details/advice on this doggie. Whether she's a lost pet or an abandoned one, only time will tell but one week of waiting time would be standard before she's given up for adoption.  I've already put a found notice online and left printed notices with 2 vets and a big pet shop nearest to the rescue site and the first rescuer also put some in a 7-Eleven and LRT station.  I hope you can post this at your blog too and if anyone owns her or have any information, they can e-mail to ttdidog@gmail.com but please take note that adoption offers would not be entertained.
