Dear Dr Chan,

I’m sadden to say Caramel passed away a few minutes ago. We were monitoring her breathing, feeding her water and try to make her as comfortable as we could. We saw her fight for her life throughout the day and night, until at the end, she meowed a�couple of times, and�then she stopped breathing. we tried massaging her heart but no response. we are deeply saddened about this, we were supposed to wait 24 hours until she is stabilized before further treatment can be done (at least, that’s what the vet said) but it seems that she gave up. at least, she no longer suffers and can go to the rainbow bridge. thank you for your prayers.

May Mel be in a better place now. �As Ain says, she is no longer suffering and is happy and whole again at Rainbow Bridge. Maybe Mel did not “give up”, she let go because she knew it was time to leave and journey on to a better destination.

We do our best and have to leave the rest to destiny.
