One of many of the dogs who needs your help: Go-Go

Poor Go-Go a Shitzu and a tragic victim of the popularity of small breeds in Thailand. We are starting to see far more abandoned pets of this type. Shitzu, poodles and other small dogs have become extremely popular in Thailand over past few years. Dogs like Go-Go are often brought from Bangkok for sale at the local markets. Unfortunately owners often lose interest in them and abandon then to the street where they have no chance of survival.

Go-Go was rescued by Soi Dog Animal Rescue Officer Khun Dhong just a few days ago and rushed to the shelter for emergency treatment with various wounds and a terribly infected maggot infested eye wound. His eye will need to be removed once his condition becomes a bit more stable.

Abandoned on the streets, dogs like Go-Go have no chance of survival on their own and must remain at the shelter until if and when they are adopted Go-Go is just one of the many dogs who underscore the importance of your support.
