Ronaldo (the Shih Tzu) Has Been Adopted!!

For the first time in this blog, the adopters are non-human! Read on…

Hi Dr Chan,
I’ve received many application to adopt Ronaldo (the shih tzu). After careful vetting of all the application, my dogs, Lady and Uncle Pluto stands out to be the best adopter of all. And I have a feeling that Ronaldo thought both of them are his parents. They are always together. When Ronaldo wants to pee/poo in the garden, either Lady or Uncle Pluto or sometimes both, will accompany him without fail.
So here, I wish to inform everyone that Ronaldo has been adopted (by Lady and Uncle Pluto)!

A little bit of background about Uncle Pluto:
Fyi, when Lady gave birth to six various colours puppies, it was my dog, uncle Pluto, who help to take care of them! And the Alor Setar Kedah vet said back then, “Ladys’ puppies are too small, they won’t survive..” Now, look at them all!
Ronaldo is such a happy puppy. He get along with everyone at home. The only extra work we need to do is to clean him after he done poo-pooing (his anal is higher up from the normal position).
When he with us on day 1, we did ask the vet to do blood screening. Everything are OK (also heartworm -ve), except for 2 readings ~ liver and kidney function slightly above normal range. The vet said the readings may as such as when he was outside he may pick up unhealthy things. Deworming also done.
Yesterday, after discussion with husband, we decided to keep Ronaldo with us. We made this decission on basis that our dogs loves Ronaldo, especially Lady and uncle Pluto.
