Baggys Adjustment To My Home And Her New Friends
Tweet |
Thank you, everyone, for your concern about Baggy. I was particularly touched when many of you felt what I felt when I heard the pillow story. Just as you cried, imagine how it was for me.
But here’s reassuring you that Baggy is adjusting to my home – slowly but surely.
The vet says it normally takes about 2 months to adjust to a new environment. It has just been slightly over a month now. Baggy has a quiet personality; she is not the happy-go-lucky type. We have to give her time to adjust.
Here are some photos taken in the past few days.
Tabbies Inc. are the friendliest in my brood, so they are the first to be friends.
She plays with the feather and most of the toys. But Baggy is a very lady-like and gentle cat, not boisterous like Tabs.
Her special place is on the table, right next to me. She is always here.
That’s Tabs, totally konked out after playing with the Cat Dancer (the toy on the wire). Baggy loves this toy as well.
Her favourite spot is actually at the Murraya flower bed, but Cow seems to have a problem with that as that spot is at the Clubhouse and Cow claims it to be his. I’ve been intervening whenever a war-crying fight breaks out at that spot. Usually I bring Baggy back into the room. Slowly does it, I don’t want to antagonise Cow. Baggy, however, is not afraid of Cow’s war cries, because she has her own weapon – her Meezers. She has proven to be a courageous cat who can stand her ground.
Tabs is always available for any game.
Good ol’ Tabs – she doesn’t give up.
