Hi Dr Chan,
A malay neighbour alerted to me this afternoon that there is adog taking refuge inside theirgarbage compartment. The dogisunfriendly when approched but it does looks hungry. I bought the dog food and water and it literally finished everything.
The dog later walk to one of the house along the same street as my house and it just stared at the main gate. So, I thought the dog must be belongs to this house (which I remembered that they had a dog which confined in a small cage all throughout its life). I rang their doorbell but nobody open the main gate. And I noticed thatthe small cage left opened without any dog inside.
Looking at the dog, it is really pityful. In my mind (despite knowing the dog owner is that staying in that house)I will get this doginto my car and send to the vet. But, when approched it showsits teeth, yikes! Luckily, after a lot of talking and convincing, the dog finally willing to follow me inside the car. After that, the dog is really friendly and polite.
Thevet doctor atthe clinic nearby not free to attendthe dog as heneed to rush foran appointment with a client. Howeverthe vet suggested to send the dog for grooming. So, I brought the dog to another vet clinic which theyimmediately attend to it.
1st physical examination showsthegender is a female. Before that it is unnoticeable because of the fur like glued together. Please see the photos.Since it is a female, I decided to named her Bella.
Bella’snow is at the vet clinic in Puchong. Thevet will shave her fur.I requested the vet to dewormed her as well as to carry out blood screening to check for any contagious decease; hence she will be staying overnight at the vet clinic today. Ifeverything clear, I will fosterBella untilsomeone responsible willing to adopt her.If anyone interested to adopt Bella, please write to me atconnie4707@yahoo.com
I have no intention to send Bella back to her human house. I just heard from a neighbour who saw what happened today; thatthe human literally throws Bella outside their house. Bellawas crying toask the human to let her come inside but that human wentback inside the house and closed the door!
Will visit Bella at the vet clinic tomorrow. Hope she is ok.
Regards,
Connie
