Now, Who Is Fighting?
Talking about warring animals, I also have two in my home – Cow & Bunny, and no, they were not bred as fighting-cats, they are just extremely territorial and this seems to be the nature of cats, especially if we have many cats in a confined space.
Most of the time, there is peace in the house, unless I am at work, then I don’t know what goes on behind my back, but there has been no major injuries in these two so far.
But sometimes, when we introduce change into their space, we inadvertently create a new set of problems…as I did, when I moved their rattan trunk and opened the door….(with the intention of letting them play in it).
This morning as I was doing my work at my laptop, I suddenly heard a most horrific sound of feline war-cry outside.
I quickly checked to see where Baggy was….was it Baggy just defending herself again with her part-Siamese “Meezers”?
Nope, Baggy is safe.
Pole has given up her condo for Baggy now, and nobody dares to use the litter-box in the condo, so I moved it to where the other litter-boxes are.
Oh, I see…it’s Cow.
So, what seems to be the problem, Cow?
This is the problem?
Fighting over ownership of the rattan trunk?
Cow’s tail was completely fluffed up and he went under the table to cool off, I think.
Bunny remained inside the trunk.
I think Cow tried to take over the trunk, but Bunny refused to relinquish his ownership rights.
Pole watches her two brothers fight and wonders why.
I mean, why can’t you be like me? Baggy wants my condo, I give it up, and I take the shelf, see? There’s enough space here for all of us. Peace, brothers, don’t make war.
Alright, alright, what’s going on here? We’re here to mediate…don’t worry, we’ll take care of things.
I’ve got it covered, Indy. Let me handle this.
Everything’s under control now. Tabs is here. No worries, everyone. Please disperse, show’s over.
You sure everything’s under control?
Bobby used to intervene way back in the old days, but now, he has decided to let Tabs take over.
I believe in gradual succession and the passing over of the baton to the younger generation.
And no, I don’t need a “Senior Minister” post either.
I’m fine, no worries.
We are Siamese if you please
We are Siamese if you don’t please
Now we’re looking over our new domisile
If we like we stay for maybe quite a while
