On 27th March, I posted Dr Veeranoot’s appeal for adopters for the gerbils that are due to be euthanised at the laboratories in her place of work.
A few days ago, Dr Veeranoot was delighted when Nadia Hanin Nazlan wrote to her, after reading the post, expressing interest in adopting the gerbils.
Dear Dr Veeranoot,
Hi Dr, my name is Nadia and I came across a post in Animal Care dated 27th of March 2012> > (http://myanimalcare.org/2012/03/27/would-you-like-to-adopt-some-gerbils-and-save-them-from-being-euthanised-dr-veeranoot-nissapatorn/)
regarding adopting Gerbils and saving them from being euthanized.
Are they still available for adoption? I am very interested in adopting
them.
However, I do have 3 Female Mongolian Gerbils and 2 Fat Tailed Gerbils as well, as much as I love them I wont be able to adopt all of them. Would it be possible if i just adopt 3 – 4 them?
Im trying to spread the word to my friends, in hope that there will be more interested parties.
Thank you very much! and have a good day.
Regards,
Nadia Hanin Nazlan
Today, Nadia and her friend, Anis, met up with Dr Veeranoot at the laboratory and took home TEN gerbils who will get to live out their natural lives as pets now!
Dr Veeranoot donated two packs of food along with the adoption.
We are overjoyed!
Thank you, Nadia and Anis, and also, Dr Veeranoot and her students.
The young girls in AnimalCare tshirts are Dr Veeranoot’s students.
