Meet our newest little housemate — a 6-month-old tortoiseshell beauty recently rescued and now safe at Second Chance Animal Society. She’s vaccinated, curious, and full of potential — but right now, she’s in an isolation cage, waiting for a forever home.

A shelter is no place for a kitten to grow up. Kittens need love, play, and companionship — not loneliness. Growing up alone can lead to what’s known as single kitten syndrome — where lack of proper socialization can cause behavioral issues like biting, anxiety, or trouble adjusting to new environments.

She deserves more than that. She deserves a chance to grow into the happy, healthy cat she’s meant to be — preferably in a home with another young cat to be her buddy, or adopted with a friend.

Second Chance is a group of like-minded animal lovers who met through the Internet when they read of Aunty Kiew's plight.

They do their very best to render help whenever time permits and within their limited capacities. They hope to find good homes for as many homeless animals as possible. Currently, there are 100+ animals rescued and fostered by this group.
