Pharp Final Day Update 13 April 2025. Today Marks ..

[PHARP – Final Day Update | 13 April 2025]

Today marks the final day of our Putra Heights Animal Relief Post (PHARP) operations.

Our team is now prepping with the MBSJ crew for one last entry. We have two cats that may require extraction and will be meeting an owner to hand over pet food supplies.

Over the past two weeks, while we may not have resolved every single case, we are proud to say that every report we received was responded to, visited, or verified by our team.

Our deepest thanks go to:

MBSJ – for their full cooperation, logistics support, and ground coordination.

Santapan Kembara Kitchen – for keeping our team nourished and energised every day.

All volunteers – for showing up, again and again, in the heat, rain, and uncertainty.

Veterinary partners – for treating rescued animals and making space for the injured.

Donors, sponsors, and followers – for believing in us and helping us move fast.

We’ll continue monitoring a few unresolved cases, especially those under vet care, and will be launching a small fundraiser soon to help with their medical bills.

For now, we pack up with full hearts and tired hands — grateful for what we could do, and ready to support long-term recovery ahead.

SPCA Selangor

SPCA Selangor is an animal welfare organisation based in Ampang Jaya, Selangor. The aim of the SPCA is to protect defenseless animals and to alleviate their suffering. We receive more than 700 unwanted, homeless or abused animals every month. We provide an adoption program, investigation of cruelty reports, humane education, assistance to community animal caregivers and run a dedicated, low-cost spay/ neuter clinic. We also lobby the Government and local municipals for humane treatment of animals and harsher penalities for perpetrators of crimes against animals. Founded in 1958, SPCA is a well-respected and trusted Non-Profit Organisation. Over the years, the organisation has gained tremendous goodwill, recognition and support from animal lovers all over Malaysia
