However, as #ClimateChange disrupts this balance, people throughout the country, especially local communities, become increasingly vulnerable to intensifying floods, droughts and rising sea levels.

Collective action is crucial to safeguard water resources. The newly launched Future Water Agenda Report by GlobeScan and WWF guides businesses and industries to adopt water stewardship—critical for our resilience and a more sustainable future, particularly amid worsening climate change.

Why do water stewardship and climate change matter to us?

🌊Rising sea levels driven by climate change threaten coastal locations including towns and vital ecosystems like mangroves, which support livelihoods.

🌦️Erratic weather increases flood risks and worsens water shortages, impacting the population and our economy.

💧Rivers are crucial lifelines, providing water security for millions, yet unsustainable development in river basins threatens water availability and quality.

What can we do?

✅Cut carbon emissions (e.g. reduce energy use, support renewable energy).

✅Conserve or protect rivers from pollution and over-development.

✅Demand stronger policies to protect forests and rivers.

✅Practice water conservation daily. Make every drop count.
