Updates On 8th May 2012

One of two 8 month old pups with similar injuries picked up at the weekend hiding in bushes behind the beach near the JW Marriot hotel. Both had been clubbed. Both the eye and head wounds were crawling with maggots. The eye will have to be removed once the infection and swelling have gone down. We have called her I-Ya and will stay at Soi Dog as will the other who has major bcd wound. Extensive treatment will be required for both pups. Please consider donating to help them and the approximately 100 others currently receiving treatment at the shelter. Sponsor a dog today! Many thanks to Sara who was staying up there and spotted them. Sara is adopting their thin but uninjured litter sister and taking to Singapore once ready.Source: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=381900421851699&set=a.137025779672499.11141.108625789179165&type=1
