According to Jan’s meat and vegetable bill – each of our dogs cost about RM23 a month. We need the meat for them to stay healthy – especially our disabled and old dogs that are fed nothing but rice with loads of chicken and pork for some of them that have skin issues. We also need to settle last month’s bill as we have ordered extra chicken and meat this month for our ailing dogs.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
