Our Sabah Landscapes Programme’s Sustainable Palm Oil Team recently attended a training session held by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) to learn about their newest technology, PRISMA (Palm Resource Information and Sustainability Management).

Using this tool, we aim to enhance traceability in palm oil supply chains and explore how PRISMA can support compliance with the EU Deforestation Regulation. This is particularly relevant in the landscapes we work in (Tabin and Tawau-Kunak in Sabah), where strengthening supply chain transparency is crucial for promoting sustainable production and ensuring that growers and producers meet international sustainability requirements.
