This Morning, We Responded To An Urgent Call About..

This morning, we responded to an urgent call about an injured softshell turtle. Upon inspection, we found a deeply embedded fishing hook in its right foreleg, deep cuts on its carapace, and heartbreakingly, a missing left foreleg 💔

The softshell turtle was clearly in pain, fidgeting as we carefully worked to remove the hook. After some struggle, we succeeded, and all its wounds were cleansed and treated. This brave survivor weighs 12kg and will undergo a few more hours of rehabilitation before we release it back into the wild.
