⚠️ Upsetting images ⚠ This cat was the victim of a road traffic accident, a tragic fate that far too many street animals suffer. Thankfully, Laitaem has someone looking out for her – a kind feeder who called us immediately. 🚨

Arriving at our hospital after dark, our animal rescue officer met the veterinary team who quickly got to work. Sadly, the damage was done and Laitaem lost her eye. A mandibular wire was also implanted to help heal her broken jaw.😢

Today, Laitaem continues to fight for her life, growing stronger each day under our hospital team’s compassionate care. While a second surgery awaits to remove her jaw wire once she’s stable, she’ll be comforted by the gentle hands who are committed to her recovery every step of the way.❤️‍🩹
