The ACRES Wildlife Rescue Team received a call where a snake was caught in the house. When the team arrived, they were utterly dismayed to find the snake had been clubbed to death in fear.

According to the caller, the Paradise Tree snake leapt from the tree that is barely 3 feet away from the corridor, and headed straight into his room. His friend was also worried that the snake may carry diseases that could carry on to the caller’s pregnant wife. The decision was then made to kill the snake before the snake harms the residents of the house.

Paradise tree snakes do not hold enough venom that would be fatal to humans. Instead, the little amount they have is only enough for their prey- largely lizards and frogs.

If you do see any of these species in your house or too close for your comfort, please call the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Hotline at 9783 7782 to safely remove and relocate the lost animals.Source: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150782693351523&set=a.223077136522.136042.22159071522&type=1
