On 12 December 2024, we proudly formalised a transformative partnership with Manulife Malaysia at the Community Partnership Signing Ceremony, marking the start of a meaningful 3-year collaboration.

After the signing ceremony, we had a screening of our award-winning documentary Wang Kelian, Perlis – The Forgotten Valley at the Aurum Theatre, The Gardens Mall, Kuala Lumpur. Also, we had an insightful panel session with Ms. Marilyn Wang, Chief Marketing Officer, Manulife Malaysia, Mr. Peter Ong, Project Manager, Roots and Shoots Malaysia and Mr. Syamil Abd Rahman, Founder, Perlis Wildlife & Nature.

This milestone agreement between Ms. Vibha Coburn, Group CEO of Manulife Malaysia, and Mr. TP Lim, President of Roots & Shoots Malaysia, reflects a shared commitment to environmental preservation and community empowerment.

Together, we aim to:

🌱 Rehabilitate the nature trail in Wang Kelian, Perlis – breathing new life into this stunning natural area.

🤝 Empower the local community through capacity-building initiatives, creating sustainable opportunities for generations to come.
