✨ Updates on our #GivingTuesday campaign last year ✨

On #GivingTuesday last year, we ran a campaign to raise 1,000 copies of our “Turtles of Malaysia” colouring books to be distributed to rural school students in Malaysia, who would otherwise not be able to afford to purchase a copy.

In a little more than 24 hours, YOU helped us raise more than 1,000 copies of the colouring books! Collectively, all of us raised a total of 1,037 copies of the books! We are please to share that we have successfully distributed all the books to the students.

From the bottom of our hearts, and on behalf of our students, we thank you for your generous contribution! 🌷

P/S: In light of the recent flooding events in the country, we will not be participating in #GivingTuesday this year. In our next post, we will share the information of some organisations that are working tirelessly to send food and supplies to flood victims. Please consider donating to them instead 🙏🏻

Turtle Conservation Society

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011. The aim of the society is to bring about the recovery of depleted wild populations of turtles, with particular reference to freshwater turtles, in Malaysia through partnerships with like-minded organizations, individuals and local communities as well as through its own programs.
