Shes Just In Love With Life And Shows No Signs Of ..

“She’s just in love with life and shows no signs of slowing down!”

📅 Today marks the start of Adopt A Senior Pet Month, and we can think of no better way to kickstart this important campaign than with a happy adoption story.

Macy here was adopted by a loving family in the UK 🇬🇧 last year at the grand age of 11.

It had been a tough old road for her. Rescued from an overcrowded shelter in northeastern Thailand before being transferred to our sanctuary in the south, she endured everything from skin cancer to hip dysplasia over the years.

However, her family saw beyond her age and ailments. And since joining them in their home, she’s found a whole new lease of life. 🙌

Here’s what they have to say about Macy and the beauty of adopting a senior dog:

“If Soi Dog ever wants to use a Macy as an example of adopting an older dog, then please do it as everyone should see how incredible and appreciative these dogs are.

She is the world’s best dog! She is soooooooo loving. She’s obsessed with us and we are her. 🥰 She is so loved. She’s just perfect.

She thinks she’s a lap dog and has to be touching and cuddling you. She takes my slippers (never chews) when I’m at work and sleeps on them. She loves the children so much.

She’s perfect off lead and never strays far. She loves the beach and any adventure we take her on. We took her on holiday to Wales in July as we couldn’t bear to be away from our baby! She’s just in love with life and shows no signs of slowing down!

Thank you for looking after her. I don’t know what I would do without her ❤️”
