Tackling plastic waste in Sabah ♻️

On 22 October 2024, key government ministries, departments, and local authorities from 21 districts, including the Kota Kinabalu City Hall, gathered to discuss strategies for enhancing plastic waste management in Sabah. WWF-Malaysia also participated in the discussion. This workshop was a crucial step in identifying sustainable and effective solutions towards tackling the urgent issue of plastic pollution. The Deputy Permanent Secretary I of the Ministry of Local Government and Housing, TPr. Stanley Chong officiated this workshop, demonstrating strong support and commitment to this plastic initiative.

Together, we will create a cleaner future for Sabah.
