As We Count Down To World Rabies Day, Were Thrille..

As we count down to World Rabies Day, we’re thrilled to share the remarkable success of our CNVR (Catch, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return) programme in Greater Bangkok since 2016 in partnership with Dogs Trust. To date, we’ve neutered and vaccinated almost 600,000 dogs in the region and the results are incredible! 🎉🐶

Our recent survey from 2016 to 2023 shows a 54% reduction in free-roaming dog density, and the attached graph highlights a significant decrease in rabies cases, demonstrating the undeniable impact of the CNVR programme.

This achievement is not just about the numbers; it reflects our commitment to improving the lives of animals and people alike.

But we couldn’t have done this alone. It’s through your unwavering support, and that of organisations like Dogs Trust that we’ve reached these milestones. We’re also thankful to Global Alliance for Rabies Control (GARC) for their invaluable Vaccination and Sterilisation Tracker (VST) tool, which has been vital in mapping and monitoring our progress. Together, we’re #BreakingRabiesBoundaries. 🌟🙏

🌏With an estimated 8-10 million stray dogs in Thailand, the challenge is far from over. But with your support, we can continue to make strides toward a rabies-free world. 💪
