Half of Cactus’ paw had disappeared, even the bones were missing. There was no indication as to what caused this serious injury, but her feeder knew she was in unbearable pain.😓

When our mobile team arrived, it was clear that Cactus needed surgery and they set out on a four-hour journey toward the Soi Dog hospital.🏥

Sadly, Cactus’ front left leg had to be amputated. It’s not a decision that the veterinary team makes lightly, but is one that sometimes must be made to provide a better quality of life.

If there is a silver lining it is that, thanks to people like you, she will now become a sanctuary resident where she will be safe, fed, and cared for each day.💫
