It’s National Black Cat Appreciation Day 🐈‍⬛ and as two members of the inky kitty crew, we’re feeling sad that cats who look like us are so often overlooked for adoption, in favour of our more colourful counterparts.

We can’t understand why – we’re just as caring, curious and cuddly as other cats and our black fur only makes our beautiful eyes shine!

There are more than 30 black cats living at the Gill Dalley sanctuary, just waiting and wishing to be chosen. While we wait, though, there are some incredible people who ensure that we are safe, cared for, and treasured. Our sponsors.
