🎉 WWF-Malaysia proudly congratulates Ma’Daerah Turtle Sanctuary on 25 years of outstanding conservation impact, to which we’ve been privileged to contribute as a strategic partner:

🌊 7,226 green female turtles recorded

🐢 545,867 hatchlings released

💪 82.38% hatch success rate

None of this would be possible without our long-standing partnership with the Department of Fisheries Terengganu, community-based organisations, corporate sponsors, and the dedicated turtle guardians who tirelessly protect our marine turtles.

Together, we’re proposing additional areas for gazettement to holistically protect Ma’Daerah—for generations to come. 🙌
