Nomi And Miao On A Rainy Day (updates From Their Aunt)

Nomi and Miao’s adopters’ aunt, Mrs Leow, very kindly updated us on Nomi and Miao today.  She went to visit them and both are doing well.

In fact, Nomi is the same size as her mother, Miao, now. Both were cuddling up together on the rainy morning and according to Mrs Leow, they mewed very sweetly to her when she visited.

They are eating well, defecation is good, and they both have beautiful coats.

Mrs Leow says: Nomi will go for spaying when she turned 10 months old. Miao still cleans and grooms her big baby girl. I saw her licking Nomi’s fur. So loving, so heart warming. Please let all the donors know that Nomi and Miao they helped to save are doing well.

Backstory: Nomi was a kitten under the care of two cousins (Nick and Aline). She was diagnosed with diaphragmatic hernia due to a fall and we raised funds for the very risky operation to repair the hernia. Then, her mother, Miao, was also discovered to have a diaphragmatic hernia as well and again, we raised funds for the risky operation. Thankfully, both operations were a success and both recovered very well. Nomi and Miao have been adopted by the cousins. It was their aunt, Mrs Leow, who alerted us about their conditions and she played a significant role in saving their lives. Of course, our kind and generous donors provided the funds for it.
