Ginger’s Paw Wound – Day 2
Tweet | ![]() |
Yesterday, Ginger preferred to stay on the platforms.

I did not put the e-collar on him all the time, though. He did not lick his wound at all, so I only use it for about an hour after I cleaned the wound and applied the Fucidin to prevent him from licking off the cream.

He was already no longer limping yesterday and was able to get all the way up to the lookout.

Can you spot Smurfy?

This morning, Ginger did not want to join everyone for breakfast again. He remained up on the platform until later, when he came down himself. I offered him a new kibble and he ate a lot. Something new to whet the appetite.
There’s no problem giving him his medication and cleaning his wound.

E-collar off! Time for a good, long nap.
