The Unexpected Socks Incursion

There was massive war cry today!!

We thought it was the Monsters attacking each other, but no….

It was Socks! He had come to the ledge and Smurfy was upfront attacking him….verbally. Gerald, as you can see, is on the other roof, trying his best to help.

Gerald and the other Monsters were on ground, supporting Smurfy. Moral support, that is.

“I’m supporting Smurfy too”, says Gerald. Yes, Gerald, we know you are.

Gerald is safe, on the neighbour’s roof.

Ordinarily, Gerald does not like Socks and will chase him away each time he comes to our porch. Socks is a well-fed plump cat who doesn’t need our food. The other thing is, he isn’t neutered. He belongs to the Rumah Kucing down the road.

That’s Socks with Smurfy, separated only by the netting. Had there been no netting, a world war would have broken out.

All on high alert. Imagine if our Monsters were not confined…. They are all alphas. I’d be making a trip to the vet’s with a few of them, I’m sure.

I think this is the first time Socks has wandered to this part. It looks like he’s going to Gerald’s territory at the back. Or Creamy’s. It’s an invasion!!

The war cries stopped after Socks disappeared to the back. Samantha and Akira were up on the platform, ready to defend their territory too.

When I came back from my walk, all was well and peaceful in the porch.
