Corvin’s shelter profile reads, ”Animal Abuse.” It is suspected that Corvin was attacked by someone who doesn’t like dogs, as he showed up one day with wounds and a bloody left eye. Horrifically, three months prior to this attack, another dog was poisoned and died in front of the feeder’s home. Two other dogs went missing as well 💔.

Animals who are rescued from circumstances of suspected cruelty, are given immediate residency in the sanctuary unless another solution that absolutely guarantees their safety can be arranged. Our team will also investigate and ensure charges are pressed whenever possible.

For a dog like Corvin, it is difficult to trust when you’ve seen the worst of humanity. Through this ordeal, he lost his eye. He was removed from the home he knew, and had to begin another life.

Corvin made it through his surgery and his physical wounds healed. Now begins the work of developing trust in people again. Will you show dogs like Corvin that there are good humans in the world? 🧡🌿
