老浪浪的耳朵旁长了一粒大颗的肿瘤，肿瘤里面满是苍蝇蛆虫在钻，伤口四周还有不少苍蝇围绕着，看了都觉得很痛, 狗狗也太痛苦了

求救人在Bukit Indah 工作的地点发现了这只老浪浪，很想带它求医, 联系了几间宠物店都遭拒绝,辗转联系了我们, 并且发来了照片.虽然护生园财务状况非常吃紧, 但是看到可怜的老浪浪无助的眼神, 还是决定前往援助.

求救人告知, 她是这几天才发现这只老浪浪, 询问附近的商家, 商家都说这只老浪浪已经出没在附近2个礼拜了, 但是大家都不在乎的说，『狗狗流浪来这里的时候就有肿瘤了，而且我们赶也赶不走』

真的超心疼，明明每个人都看见了, 但狗狗病到这个地步了还是没人尝试帮帮它.

我们为老浪浪取名Ribbon，Ribbon已经被送往兽医诊所治疗, 由于体内细菌感染指数很高, 再加上要先处理肿瘤内的蛆虫, 不能即刻动手术切除肿瘤.如果肿瘤伤口大, 还需要植入皮肤覆盖伤口. 在用药的过程中, 肿瘤已经有缩小了.但是医生不能确定肿瘤是良性还是恶性. 如果是恶性肿瘤,就是俗称”癌症”, 对身体的破坏力极强, 癌细胞会迅速转移到身体和其他器官,引起这些器官癌变造成疼痛.狗狗会出现消瘦, 贫血的情况, 甚至会威胁到生命. 医生也说绝大多数这样的情况恐怕是恶性肿瘤 ……当然我们不希望Ribbon会走到这一步, 希望大家为Ribbon集气祈福.

癌症治疗是一笔高额的治疗费,药物也相当昂贵.每一次救援都是一大笔长期开销

尤其Ribbon,我们能做的是减轻它的苦痛，让它安稳度晚年.

An old stray dog has a large tumor near its ear, infested with fly maggots, with flies swarming around the wound. It looks incredibly painful, and the poor dog is clearly suffering.

A rescuer working in Bukit Indah discovered and wanted to take it to a vet. After being refused by several pet clinics, they contacted us and sent photos. Despite our sanctuary’s financial difficulties, we decided to help after seeing the helpless look in eyes.

The rescuer mentioned that they only noticed in the past few days. Asking around the local businesses, they found out that the dog has been in the area for about two weeks, but no one seemed to care. They said, “The dog already had a tumor when it arrived, and we couldn’t chase it away.”

It’s heartbreaking to know that everyone saw the dog, yet no one tried to help, even as it became so severely ill.

We named the dog Ribbon, and it has been taken to a veterinary clinic for treatment. Due to a high level of bacterial infection and the need to first treat the maggots inside the tumor, surgery to remove the tumor cannot be performed immediately. If the wound from the tumor is large, a skin graft may be needed to cover the wound. However, with medication, the tumor has already started to shrink. The vet cannot determine yet whether the tumor is benign or malignant. If it is malignant, it would mean cancer, which is extremely destructive to the body. Cancer cells can quickly spread to other organs, causing them to become cancerous and painful. The dog could become emaciated, anemic, and it could be life-threatening. The vet also mentioned that in most such cases, the tumor is likely malignant.

Of course, we hope Ribbon doesn’t reach that point, and we ask everyone to send their thoughts and prayers for Ribbon.

Cancer treatment is very expensive, and the medication is costly. Each rescue is a significant, long-term financial burden, especially with Ribbon. Our goal is to alleviate its pain and help it live out its remaining years comfortably.
