Despite groundbreaking progress in several countries in tackling the dog and cat meat trade, there are still relentless perpetrators committing atrocious crimes❗

After receiving an invaluable tip-off, our partner organisation Animal Kingdom Foundation (AKF) in the Philippines, cooperated with local police to expose and arrest two dog meat traders.

Local undercover police negotiated a fake deal with the suspects and four bags where brought to them. Seconds later, the traders were in handcuffs and the AKF team rushed to open the bags containing four innocent dogs. Only two were found still alive 😥; the other two had already been brutally slaughtered for their meat.

While these two survivors are safe now, countless others are still trapped in the darkness of the dog meat trade💔. Will you stand by our side as we continue to rescue future victims, arrest the culprits and educate communities?
