Here are updates from Dr Dev:

Hi Dr Chan,
We also stabilised the jaw with wires. Cat looks brighter today but still lethargic. At least there is movement. Still not eaten. The bill will breach 1k after stay here. I know your max amount. Its ok. Now we juz need to go to the end of the line. Do not know when cat will be able to eat.

We wish to thank Elyzha Nur bte Ismail for her RM200 contribution to Kucing’s surgery. We received her bank-in today. We also just received another interbank transfer of RM50 from a well-wisher who requested anonymity. The extra funds now stands at RM250.

We have pledged 50% and will proceed with that once we get the bill. Any extras from the readers will be forwarded to Dr Dev as helping out with the other 50%.

A quick recap, Kamaruzaman Ahmad is disabled with only one leg. This stray cat. Kucing, is looked after by him but was involved in a car accident. Kucing requires eye enucleation and a hernia surgery. Kamaruzaman could not afford the bill and went to several vets before going to Dr Dev who sourced our help, and also offered to share the bill with Kamaruzaman.

Updates at 10.51pm – The extra funds received from our individual readers now total at RM600!
