Little Piero was just a few weeks old when he was attacked by a dog😥.

Thankfully, he survived but he did suffer an irreversible wound to his tail. This little kitten, who could fit in the palm of your hand, had already had such a hard start to life.

Shortly after he arrived at our hospital, he began to show signs of feline panleukopenia virus – an often fatal illness, particularly for kittens.

However, Piero was determined, not only to survive, but to thrive. Six months later, this cheeky kitty has made a full recovery and become a shelter resident where he is playful and happy 🧡✨
